TRS System

Jim Hogg County ISD uses the Texas Resource System (TRS) as the curriculum framework for the district. This framework provides fidelity and consistency across all content areas aligning the curriculum to the Texas Education Knowledge & Skills, (TEKS). JHCISD educators utilize this framework to help monitor learning gaps and ensure that all students are receiving rigorous and aligned instruction.

What can you do with TRS Resources System?

The Texas Resource System provides our district with a standardized curriculum framework aligned to the TEKS (Texas Education Knowledge & Skills), which are the mandated state learning standards for what students should know and be able to master. This Curricular Framework should be able to provide fidelity and consistency. It should also be triangulated with the adopted textbook and the teacher lesson plans to ensure that learning gaps and curriculum alignment is monitored.

Every JHCISD will have a hard copy of the curriculum framework that is part of their content area. Educators will also utilize the online software version to access the following:
