Dr. Susan H. Douglas, Superintendent's Message

I am excited and honored to serve as Superintendent of the best school district in Texas—Jim Hogg County ISD! Our district has a proud history rooted in strong relationships, meaningful traditions, and a community that comes together to support its children.

That Longhorn pride is reflected in our classrooms, on the playing field, and throughout our extracurricular programs. We strive for excellence in everything we do, and we want every student to have opportunities to learn, discover their strengths, and accomplish things they can be proud of.

It is a privilege to work alongside our dedicated staff, families, and community as we build on these traditions and prepare our students for the future. I look forward to celebrating their achievements and all that we will accomplish together.

Welcome to Longhorn Country!
